I got a new air fryer, and I am obsessed. I am literally trying everything out in this thing. I made the most delicious falafel balls this weekend. I usually bake them…not anymore!
Ingredients
- 1 can rinsed chick peas
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 small shallot
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 3/4 coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons whole wheat flour
Directions
- Blend all the ingredients using a food processor, or blender. i used my vitamix. I choose to leave mine a little chunky. that is all depending on preference.
- Then preheat air fryer at 390 degrees.
- Make balls out of the mixture. About two tablespoons worth.
- Spray basket and falafel with cooking spray.
- Place in air fryer for about 10 minutes. rotating halfway.
- Take out and let cool
- Serve with tzatziki sauce, hot sauce, or hummus.
