The almighty beet. You either love them or hate them. Personally I like them...I can eat them raw. My husband on the other hand has a few choice words about the beet. This recipe masks what he calls “dirt” taste, i call earthy flavor. The frozen banana works perfectly. Feel free to add more fruit or vegetable to it. This is just a solid base for a great start to your day.
Ingredients
1 beet
1 frozen banana (you can you fresh too)
I cup of spinach (or kale)
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk ( give or take, based on preference)
Instructions
Wash and peel beet. Cut up in pieces
Cut up banana
Measure out a cup of greens
Measure out you nondairy milk
Throw everything in blender. I personally use the Nutribullet
