Hummus is a great thing to use in place of so many dairy products. I use it as a base for creamy pasta sauces, it makes a great sandwich spread, and of course it is very tasty on its own.
Ingredients
16 oz. can garbanzo beans
¼ cup of tahini
2 cloves of garlic
juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1teaspoon of cumin
2 tablespoons of water ( more or less based on desired texture)
½ teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Pulse on low until a little bit chunky
Add water tablespoon by tablespoon until desired consistency
Take out of food processor
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and paprika.
Store in airtight container in fridge for 5 days
