Air Fried Falafel

Falafel balls made in an air fryer. Super flavorful without all the extra calories and fat from the deep fryer
Ingredients
  • 1 can rinsed chick peas
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 small shallot
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¾ coriander
  • ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons whole wheat flour
Instructions
  1. Blend all the ingredients using a food processor, or blender. i used my ninja. I choose to leave mine a little chunky. that is all depending on preference.
  2. Then preheat air fryer at 390 degrees.
  3. Make balls out of the mixture. About two tablespoons worth.
  4. Spray basket and falafel with cooking spray.
  5. Place in air fryer for about 10 minutes. rotating halfway.
  6. Take out and let cool
  7. Serve with tzatziki sauce, hot sauce, or hummus.
