I made this grilled pineapple jalapeno hot sauce after watching First We Feast hot ones. They have a lineup of super hot wings, and as the special guest sweat, they get interviewed. It is oddly entertaining. I watched one episode where they give the recipe for their Grilled pineapple hot sauce. I tried it, and absolutely loved it. It is super fresh, a little sweet, and not too spicy. I put it on everything!
These are your basic ingredients. The grilling of the pineapple creates an amazing depth to the sauce. You can skip this step if you don’t have a grill. But if you do, I highly recommend grilling the pineapple.
This hot sauce goes perfect with this Easy Restaurant Style Mexican Rice
This was my finished product. It is, flavorful, acidic, and definitely brightens up any dish.
