This vegan blueberry crisp is an incredibly easy to execute, delicious dessert. This recipe is so wholesome, I would even eat it for breakfast. It is packed with oats, whole wheat flour, and of course…blueberries!
This Vegan Blueberry Crisp is great for when you are craving something sweet.Which if you are anything like me…is quite often!
Ingredients
- 3 cups blueberries. I used frozen. There is no need to thaw them before baking.
For the Topping
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1/4 cup whiteΒ whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons of mild tasting oil. I use grape seed orΒ coconut oil.Β
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of nutmeg
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Combine the dry ingredients for the topping. Then the oil, and maple syrup
- Add blueberries in a baking dish. Then cover with the crisp topping
- Bake for 45-50 minutes. Until the blueberries start bubbling.
- Serve it with a little honey or maple syrup drizzle
