Who knew that Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies can be so tasty?! The oat flour gives it a great texture and is the perfect cookie for anyone who loves chocolate chip cookies…which let’s face it, is everyone 🙂
When these vegan chocolate chip cookies come out of the oven they are ooey, gooey and just irresistible. These are my favorite cookies to make for the holidays.
Makes 18 Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies
Time 45 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup oat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon flaxseeds
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/3 cup grape-seed oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup vegan chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- Sift together oat flour baking soda and salt
- In a separate bowl whisk the flaxseeds and milk. Add the brown and granulated sugar and stir.
- Then add vanilla and oil to mixing bowl. Mix until emulsified
- Drop batter by tablespoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Leave about an inch between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until they are golden brown on the bottom
- Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet.
- Transfer to wire cooling rack.

Tip-If you can’t find oat flour you can make your own. Take roll oats and put in blender or food processor until it looks like flour
