I think we can all agree that pesto is amazing. I have been experimenting with different types of pesto for awhile now. Lately I have been way into cilantro. So here it is….cilantro pesto. It’s a great take on the classic. Use it in place of mayo on your sandwiches. Also makes a great spread for grilled cheese!pesto

Ingredients

  1. 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  2. ¼ cup nutritional yeast

    pesto
    cilantro pesto in nutribullet
  3. Bunch of cilantro
  4. ½ cup grape-seed oil
  5. 4 garlic cloves
  6. 1/2 cup walnuts
  7. Salt to taste

Directions

    • Place all ingredients in a blender. I use the NutriBullet.
    • Salt and season as needed
    • Tip- For an enhanced flavor, toast your walnuts for a few minutes in a 350 degree oven. The natural oils are released and it makes a huge difference!

Toast the walnuts for extra flavor!
