Honey Balsamic Brussels Sprouts

This honey balsamic brussels recipe is fast , easy,  and delicious. I love the mix of  sweet and savory. The caramelization along with the sweet and tangy flavor of the balsamic and honey gives it this addictive quality. You will not stop eating these… Im tellin’ ya, you can take a brussels sprouts hater and make him a believer. If you have a kid that doesn’t like their veggies, this might change their mind!

 

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs of sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
  • 2  teaspoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of grape-seed oil
  • ¾ teaspoons of salt
  • ½ teaspoons of ground pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Clean and sort sprouts. I cut mine in half. Take off any outer leaves that look damaged. 
  3. In a mixing bowl add oil salt and pepper. Toss the sprouts.
  4. Place on aluminum foil, on a baking sheet, face down (so they caramelize).
  5. Roast 20 minutes, or until caramelized/tender   rotate halfway through.
  6. Once finished place sprouts back in bowl, add honey and balsamic.
  7. Serve!
